I have a love and passion for working with children. I look forward going to work every day knowing I am supporting a child to be their best Hi! I'm Milly Grimwood, I have a love and passion for working with children and lots of experience. I would describe myself as a fun person with a loving nature, I'm always Confident and happy, Cheerful, Independent, Caring, Reliable, positive and wanting the best for everyone. I'm happy to give anything and everything a go as I love learning new skills. I love cooking and being outside. I have a creative personality which allows me to connect with children really well. A bit about me: I have my Cert III in hospitality where I've work a lot of jobs in this field. For the past 3 years I worked as a Barista. I'm a dedicated and qualified cert III disability support worker based in the Adelaide Hills. With over 2 year of hands-on experience in a field close to my heart, I provide a wide range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of my clients, including mentoring, personal assistance, aged care, and mental health support. I also work with young children a support families with there children. I believe in the power of compassion and the significant difference we can make in each other's lives. My enthusiastic approach along with my strengths in relationship building and communication is all about empowering those I work with, ensuring they feel valued, independent, and heard. Outside of work, my passions include spending time at the beach, cooking, camping, attending festivals and concerts, exploring new places on day trips, and arts and crafts (although I’m no artist). These activities not only bring joy to my life but also inspire me to bring a creative and fresh approach to my work.
