I am 18 years old, currently on a gap year after graduating year 12 last year.
My plan is to study midwifery next year at university!
I am passionate about child care and have been surrounded by and looking after babies/ children since I can remember. I have babysat for over 20 families since I was 11, nannied for 7 this year and been responsible for up to 5 kids at one time. I am one of four kids plus two cats and a dog (meaning I’m pet-friendly)! People describe me as kind, mature, empathetic, bubbly, caring, creative and trustworthy.

Please note I do not have my drivers license yet but am very comfortable/ experienced taking public transport if you wish me to take your children out for activities that are not walking distance.

What I can do for you (the parent/s):
✅ Ensure your kids are safe and entertained in my care
✅ Give you a break/ free time
✅ Meal prep/ cook/ bake
✅ Tidy common spaces (eg. Put away toys/ pack up activities, fold laundry vacuum, wash dishes/ load the dishwasher, wipe surfaces)
✅ Grocery shop

🌈 My main goal as a babysitter is to lighten the parent’s load and leave them worry-free while their kids are in my care. To also be there to support, help and lend them a hand.

What I can do for your kids:
✅ Ensure they are always safe and happy
✅ Make them laugh
✅ Organise creative activities and games to keep them entertained and improve their learning/ skills
✅ Assist with homework
✅ Engage in imaginative play
✅ Prepare healthy snacks and meals
✅ Help them through morning/ night time routines (getting dressed, bathing, brushing teeth and hair, feeding)
✅ Nappy changing and bottle feeding
✅ Run around and keep up with their high energy (benefit of a young nanny)
✅ Other activities may include; Hide & seek, watching movies, reading books, baking, dance parties, painting, play dough, walks to local park, bubbles, singing songs.

🌈 Another goal I have as a babysitter is to not just supervise your children but engage with them and enrich their play and learning. Also, to act like a big sister they can always rely on!

✨ I have a WWCC and national police clearance. I also have current first aid, CPR, basic emergency life support and first aid in an education and care setting certifications!

My fees start at $27/ hr for one child and reflect the quality of care I provide and are based on my level of experience and qualifications.
