Hi parents, My name is Loretta and I'm a 30 year old masters student and experienced babysitter and nanny. I am a former au pair with 10 years of babysitting and nanny experience, with a caring and friendly demeanour. I have always loved caring for kids. I am a responsible carer and I appreciate engaging with the family to best suit childcare needs, as I believe that nannies and babysitters have an important role to play in helping children develop and thrive, and support the values and goals of individual families. I am a current masters' student, pursuing genomics (genetic science). I enjoy swimming, reading and movies. As well as general childcare duties, I have some experience tutoring younger school aged children (5-10 years), so I am also able to offer some homework support and supervision. I am experienced in food prep for children with particular dietary needs, including vegan/vegetarian kids and gluten free/allergen free. I am vegan myself but am happy to and have experiencing preparing meat and dairy etc for kids. Most of my experience is caring for children under 5 and infants, however I have cared for families with kids aged between 5 and 10. I live in Revesby and locally would be best suited but I would be happy to travel. I would be a reliable last-minute sitter for any local parents. My most recent work has been caring two full days a week for a lovely family with a 1 year old and a 6 year old, and looking after a toddler and two babies as a mothers' help. I have experience looking after most ages of children under 12, and most of my experience is with toddlers and very young children. I have experience caring for foster children and hold a federal police check for Oz Child. I hold a NSW working with children check. I also have experience caring for special needs children, and help my family in caring for my brother who has special needs. I am fully vaccinated and a non-smoker.
