My name is Sarah, I’m 25, I am an experienced, mature and qualified former early childhood educator with over 3 years experienceworking with children aged from newborns to 18 years. I am based in the Graceville/chelmer area (between Indooroopilly and Oxley) but always happy to travel. I have a genuine passion to support children’s development, learning and wellbeing while having fun and providing a nurturing, safe and structured environment. I have always loved working with kids, genuinely enjoying spending time getting to know, having fun and learning alongside them. I started babysitting around my local area as a young teen and continued to do so into my late teens/young adult years while I studied my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care and worked at a childcare centre. I worked at Toowong Childcare Centre for two years. During this time I developed an understanding of children’s development and gained experience managing complex behaviour, caring for multiple children, building relationships and effectively communicating with both children and their parents. I have my blue card, a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care, first aid and child/infant cpr certificate, I can provide a police check and have my open drivers licence with fully insured car and can provide references. I am currently available for babysitting or nannying jobs 7 days a week. My availability will generally change week to week. I charge $30 - $35 an hour depending on location and length of time.
