Hi, I'm Mel, I was a full-time nanny for my cousins and also have 15 years experience as a qualified teacher. I am teaching Lego part-time. I'm Mel, I have been a teacher for 20 years, worked as a classroom teacher, in kindergartens teaching drama incursions and been a teacher's aide to students with special needs. I was a Nanny for my second cousins (William, 2 and Amelia, 4) when my cousin, Helen went back to work. We were a great team 4 days a week, for 2 years, and loved every minute of the time we spent together. I love spending time with kids and will endeavour to incorporate as much play, reading, cooking, arts & crafts as possible. Essentially, I'm a big kid at heart so I love books, music, board games, being in nature, being silly, playing dress-ups, going to the library, making forts and mud pies, the usual! I love the outdoors and take my beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pepper to the park/dog beach every day. I can whip up healthy meals on a budget after running the Breakfast Club in Sunshine when I was a teacher's aide for kids with special needs. I look forward to meeting your kids!
