Hi! My name is Lara and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education! I'd describe myself as a very bubbly, warm and giving person; always being there when someone needs me. I'm currently studying primary school teaching as it has been a lifelong dream of mine. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I loved teaching and helping others, which is what set me on my journey of pursuing a career in this field. Knowing I am soon to be a primary school teacher, I believe having a job in a similar field will be extremely beneficial for not only myself, but for you as the parents too! I have recently stepped down from my hospitality job, working as a waitress, to focus primarily on teaching and gaining insight into a career path I adore! Working as a waitress has helped me gain many skills; patience, communication, cooperation, multitasking, confidence, problem-solving, and time management. I completed all 13 years of primary through to secondary education, graduating year 12 through VCE, and I am currently halfway through my bachelor course. I use to play netball for 12 years, and I danced for 15 years. These sports taught me communication, persistence, and resilience; lifelong skills I will forever carry with me and apply to my own learning, as well as the learning of those around me. I see myself as a very lively and happy person - catching me without a smile on my face will be close to impossible! I come from a very loving, selfless and caring family, who have always pushed me to do my best, and have passed on traits that have made me into the person I am today. They have inspired me to want to do good in the world, and create a bond with other children or adolescents to pass these traits onto. I would love the opportunity to become a part of your family, and to build a long-lasting relationship with your child/children too!
