Looking for our next after-school nanny for Canberra, ACT Hi all, We're two busy working parents in Canberra, ACT who need an after-school nanny to assist with the pick-up / after-school activities / dinner preparation juggle for our two children - aged nine (9) and eleven (11, with ASD). You would need to be available to pick-up the first child from one school at 3pm and the second child from another school at 3:25pm and finish between 6-7pm on weeknights. You'll need your drivers licence and your own car - but we can help to cover petrol costs as part of your salary package. Ideally you can work five nights a week but please reach out if you're interested in the job but can't yet commit to full-time work. We're based in the inner South (2603 postcode) in a neat, clean and tidy home with a lovely outlook. As well as taking the kids to some after-school appointments we would also ask for some assistance with dinner meal preparation to make our return home from work in the evenings a little smoother. You would not/not be expected to do any other form of housework. Both kids like to spend time in their rooms after school when back at home, so they don't need as much entertaining or supervision as younger children. Ideally you have your WWCC and have done a first aid course - but if you're our preferred candidate and you don't have this, we'll support you in getting these checks / certifications done. For the right candidate - and should this be something you require - we do have an on-site studio apartment for rent at a competitive rate. We're looking for an after-school nanny to begin at the start of the 2024 school year (31 January onwards). We also have one cat (lives mostly outdoor) and one dog (poodle mix, sheds less).
