Compassionate Support Worker for School and Activity Transports and Care We're seeking a warm and reliable Support Worker to join a caring family environment, providing essential transport support for two wonderful children—a 5-year-old autistic girl and a 4-year-old boy with developmental delay. This part-time role focuses on ensuring these children are safely and punctually transported to and from school, kindergarten and various therapeutic and community activities as required. It's an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on their daily lives and routines. Key Responsibilities: Assist in getting the children ready for their day, packing their bags, preparing meals, and engaging in play both at home and in the community, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Safely transport the children to and from kindergarten, school and community activities, such as swimming lessons, adhering to the provided schedule. Be attentive and responsive to the children's needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during transport and in the community. Communicate effectively and compassionately with the parents and the children’s, educators and service providers regarding the children's well-being, any delays, or notable incidents.
