Hello! My name is Rae and my wife and I are looking for a babysitter, nanny or au pair to help us with our 2 disabled children. Both of our children have Autism lvl 2, ADHD and our daughter also has tourettes. Our son is home-schooled, helping him with his schooling can be done in many ways, such as exploring in nature, going to the library etc. We require help with cleaning and cooking as well as I (step mum) have a chronic pain illness and find it difficult to keep on top of the housework and meal prep. Mia (birth mum) works a very stressful job with long hours, is gone from home from 6:30 in the morning until 6pm at night as a mental health nurse. both kids find it extremely difficult to regulate their emotions - Eli can become violent and aggressive - you will need to have thick skin - but he is the sweetest, most caring and thoughtful boy when he is well. We are looking for someone who will be able to use sensory tools and adventures to help him identify and put words to his emotions. Autumn becomes easily dis-regulated and loses her vocabulary, she needs a gentle approach and a lot of patience. She also has an ARFID diagnosis, she requires help eating some meals and prompts to complete meals.
