My name is Maria and I'm from Ecuador. I work as a nanny and physiotherapist with over two years of experience in both fields.

I'm passionate about dogs, fantasy and science fiction stories; my weakness is Disney and Marvel movies paired with a giant bowl of popcorn. Also I have a strong interest in meditation and yoga.

During my teenage years, I worked occasionally as a nanny for my sisters and neighbors, and I absolutely loved it.

Eventually, I decided to pursue a career in childcare, which led me to study physiotherapy with a specialization in pediatrics. I can confidently say that caring for children is one of the most fulfilling jobs for me, as some of my best experiences and best memories come from this work. I'm passionate about working with children; I'm organized, patient, creative, and empathetic. Building friendships with families is essential to me in providing attentive, loving, and warm care to children.

Currently, I'm continuing my academic preparation to gain further knowledge and skills relevant to childcare. Improving my English proficiency is crucial to me; it's currently intermediate, but I'm to make it excellent, and this job provides a great opportunity for that. I'm skilled in assisting children with their schoolwork to enhance their performance, engaging them in daily activities, taking initiative in proposing recreational activities that improve their physical and mental skills, and most importantly, establishing active communication and bonds that allow me to understand and connect with them.

Over the years, I have performed various tasks such as preparing meals, doing laundry, maintaining an organized home environment, reading stories (one of my favorite activities), suggesting games, and getting children ready for bedtime or daily routines, among others. Childcare and education are callings for me, and coupled with my personal skills, I ensure that your children will be safe and happy under my supervision.

I hope this brief description helps you understand more about me, my work, and the dedication and affection I bring to it. If you would like to know more about my professional background, I have attached my resume.
