My name is Jade and I am 29 years old. Looking for part time or full time work 30+ hours/week in the city area and surrounding suburbs. west or north Sydney/northern beaches. While I don't have any official experience as a nanny; I 9 years experience as a youth/child support worker. My role as a youth support worker required me to provide all aspects of care to various individuals in different settings including children's residential, supported living, secure units, hospitals and home settings.
Some of these children are developmentally appropriate and some have disabilities or poor behavioural functioning.
The children I have cared for range from 0-19 years old and I have been responsible for up to 4 children at a time. So while I do not have experience as a Nanny, I have experience being the sole supervision/care provider to children. In my most recent role i was keyworker and sole support worker at a fostering agency with 12 other social workers working with a number of children each day.

My role requires me to essentially coordinate the children's lives; supporting and directing their carers, engaging them in education, ensuring their health needs are met as well as recording

During my time in these roles I have ascertained many relevant certificates including first aid, safeguarding, data protection an NVQ level 3 qualification in children and young people and i also have a Diplom in Social work.

I personally enjoy being active and eating healthy foods. I love to cook and get creative in the kitchen! I think i've mastered the art of hiding vegetable!

I love working with children and feel great satisfaction with every milestone or achievement reached, big or small.
