Hi, We are looking for a nanny to join our family. Ideally we will find someone who can work with us over the long term as our children’s needs evolve.
Currently we need help Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm. Most of this day is with our three year old boy - enjoying local activities, walks, trips to the library or shops, etc. At 3pm is school pick up for our 5.5 year old girl. Most of this day is with our three year old boy - enjoying local activities, walks, trips to the library or shops, etc. At 3pm is school pick up for our 5.5 year old girl. This is in walking distance, or 5 minute drive. The late afternoon is home time, perhaps taking a bath or preparing a light dinner.
Both kids are happy and healthy. They like to be active outdoors and use their imagination indoors. We try to limit screen time.
We are looking for someone who; - enjoys kids and wants to interact with them at their level - can set and maintain healthy discipline - will be proactive about coming up with engaging ways to spend the day - above all, is responsible, trustworthy, and a good communicator.
Other duties would include general tidying of kids clothes and toys, bath-time as needed, and occasional errands (e.g. picking up groceries) to help keep the household running. It would be ideal if you can use your own car (we will compensate you for this), but everything is walkable.
