If you would like a family-minded, caring, calm and fun person to care for your children, I think that I might be the right fit!
I am a warm and caring 23-year-old young woman with an interest in health and happiness, and have recently returned home after travelling. Since late 2019 I have run my own business and that has been my full time employment but I decided to take a break whilst I wait to begin my studies. During the summer months I volunteer as a lifeguard, so I have the highest first aid and resuscitation qualifications. I am reliable, responsible and professional, and I absolutely adore children. What parents love about me
My calm demeanour, can-do attitude, ability to take on a new role quickly and wholly making the transition as easy as possible for your family, my experience caring for children on the autism and ADHD spectrum (having successfully navigated my own life with ADHD), and creating a fun environment where I encourage problem-solving, and understanding and regulating emotions using play-based activities and communication. Also supporting independence so your children continue to grow within themselves and flourish in this world.
What kids love about me
Never ever being bored, I pride myself on organising creative, engaging and educational activities, my big bright personality, and being very relatable as I had unique and challenging adventures when I was younger (bullying, learning difficulties, etc.) which I can talk about with ease, making kids feel like they are not alone in their experience and that in the end, they can get through it, it will be okay, hopefully showing them the different ways to deal with their feelings and what support is out there!
What I love about this work
How incredibly rewarding it is to be a part of a child's most formative years. It is truly a blessing and an honour to be trusted with such an important thing.
