Hi, my name is Belinda and i'm a mother of 3 amazing children, G7, B14 & G22. I'm over half way through completing my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at UniSA and I have 2.5 years of experience working in a childcare setting.

My experience as a mother, gained experience working in a childcare setting and my studies have confirmed my passion for nurturing and caring for children. My experience working in a childcare setting was invaluable, and although it offered great experience it also affirmed my pursuit to provide quality care to children in a more personalised manner.

I have what you could say an 'obsession' for children's books, I have a large collection at home and love both reading to children and listening to them read to me. I believe reading books with children creates warm emotional bonds, it supports children's development of basic language skills, profoundly expands their vocabularies, supports children's critical thinking skills and develops and nourishes children's creativity and imagination. I also love playing with children, I believe play is fundamental to children's development, they build confidence, develop social skills, language and communication and feel loved, happy and safe.

I have my Working with Children's Check, Responding to Abuse and Neglect cert, Senior First Aid, Safety and Wellness cert, Safe Food Handling Cert and I have applied for my Police Clearance.

I am happy to help out with light cleaning, homework support and meals for the children.
