Myself, husband, and 2.5 year old daughter will be welcoming our new baby boy in mid October. I am predominantly looking for a "night nanny" to assist with settling, possibly feeding, changing baby overnight, as I struggled with this with my oldest. Hours and exact range of work can be suited to fit your needs, but I envision this would be "on call" overnight , and your day times would be off duty. Negotiable for daytime hours with assisting with care for our toddler/light housekeeping also.
We are based on a farm in Meningie SA, about 150km South East of Adelaide. With all key amenities in our local town, lots of young locals and travellers to meet, and 80km to the nearest regional city, Meningie is a great place to enjoy nature, the Coorong National Park and beaches.
We envision this would be a live-in position with us and can offer private "granny flat" with bathroom, provide meals/food and car if required. Pay would be in line with the nature of the work including the "overnight" hours and we are happy to be flexible and chat further on pay.
We can also offer light farm work and assist towards the 88-day rural work for visa requirement if needed.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience with newborns/babies, who has or is willing to undertake first aid and vaccinations if not in place already (we can cover costs). References and Working With Children check would be an asset too.
